Commonwealth Self Storage bought a 40,617-square-foot retail center in Fredericksburg for $8.525 million, Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer | Boosalis Properties announced Thursday.
Carter’s Crossing, located at 27 S. Gateway Drive, was represented by Boosalis Properties, represented by Thalhimer’s Capital Markets Group. Catharine Spangler of Cushman & Wakefield handled the sale, which closed Wednesday.
Carter’s Crossing is a fully-leased retail center with a Target shadow anchor. The center uses triple net leases, meaning tenants pay property taxes, insurance premiums and the costs of structural maintenance and repairs, along with rent. Current tenants include Anytime Fitness, PetSmart and T-Mobile.
