The Carter’s Crossing shopping center in Stafford County has sold for $5.92 million.

The property on South Gateway Dr. off Warrenton Road was purchased from the Silver Companies by Boosalis Properties this week.

Boosalis purchased 3.9 acres of the property including the 40,654-square-foot building occupied by Petsmart, Anytime Fitness, Aladdin’s Mediterranean Grill and a nail salon.

Also in Carter’s Crossing are Target, Pohanka Honda of Fredericksburg, Panera Bread, Tropical Smoothie Café, Next Care Urgent Care, Verizon, Aaron’s, Subway, Hair Cuttery and Wawa. The property is 71 percent leased.

The shopping center will soon feature an additional 9,600-square-foot building housing national restaurant chain Freddy’s Steak Burgers and a wireless phone seller.
